Originally from Scotland, Richard has been based in London for over 20 years.
He is currently Musical Director for Jimmy Somerville, the 'Rewind' international festival house band and the 'Britpop classical orchestra' featured at Cool Britannia festival.
Other MD work includes a TV project for Gary Barlow for the "Fly" film soundtrack launch and was MD for Holly Johnson for 6 years.
Richard is the touring and recording drummer with 80's legends ABC and is on the 'Lexicon of Love II' album.
Other notable credits include tracks on Annie Lennox's Grammy nominated album - 'Nostalgia' and played on Tinchy Stryders no 1 single "Never leave you'.
He has been head of drums at the London College of Creative Media for 15 years where he developed the drum course.
